Somebody once said - I forget who, it's not important - that the
complementary technology of the Net (email, the Web, etc) is the Boeing
747.
Which I take to mean that email and such are fine for relatively mundane,
tasky sorts of things - but if you want to get into the important stuff,
the difficult stuff that requiires judgement, then you have to move to
face-to-face.
