I am new to the list and would like to introduce myself.
My name is Stephan Berchtold. I am living in Vienna, Austria (Europe).
Among others I am working on my dissertation where I try to show that
Schools and Universtities have to change to 'learning organizations' as
they will have to fulfill the request for lifelong learners. My research
covers administration (e.g. leading by example) as well as 'teaching'. I
also teach a class on TQM / CQI at the Vienna University of Economics and
Business Administration. Here the focus is on helping the students become
learners. They have to plan, do, check and redo their work. The work
focuses mainly on 'customers' and 'processes'.
If there is someone out there who could share some learnings in the
Educational sector (University as learning org) I'd appreciate it.
